Manage line yield, throughput, quality, and cycle time performance for NPI and production. Insure line is properly staffed including Holiday periods. Work closely with maintenance and engineering to insure equipment uptime and availability meet shop needs. Drive continuous improvement in order to achieve best in class performance.
Job Requirements:
Education:
Engineering Degree or equivalent required.
Experience:
Hands-on experience with best practices for maintaining assembly and test equipment and achieving world class uptimes and throughput.
Ability to implement practices which maximize operator productivity in order to maximize output and reduce cost.
Requires a full understanding of practices for achieving best-in-class quality and maintaining ISO certification.
Experience with new product introduction and product ramp in a fast moving, high quality, high tech, and high volume environment.
Able to develop capital equipment plans to support current and future growth.
Special Skills:
Lean, Six Sigma, World Class Manufacturing (WCM), project management, total productive maintenance (TPM) experience preferred.

Specific Duties
1) Management
Work with supervisors, engineering, purchasing, scheduling and maintenance to manufacture compound semiconductor devices.
2) Reporting
Provide daily reports on production progress and any issues impacting the attainment of goals.
3) Planning
Planning daily/weekly production requirements. Plan labor requirements.
4) Problem solving
Ability to quickly solve complex problems. Effectively dealing with equipment, process, resource, and capacity constraint issues.
