Swiss CNC Application Engineer (Finance)
Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposals
Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
Programing and setting up CNC lathes, CNC vertical or horizontal mills, and Swiss style lathes
Developing/ implementing custom demonstrations and training customers in the safe set up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/ or multi-tasking machines
Possessing and maintaining an in-depth technical knowledge of product lines represented by the company
Job Requirements
2 year Technical Degree in Manufacturing Technology (Preferred)
5+ years of Swiss Machine Programming and Set-Up Experience (Tsugami Experience Preferred)
Fanuc Control Experience (Preferably 2 and 3 path controls)
CAM Programming Experience
G&M Code Programming Experience
Tolerance for travel and overnight stays (Home/Customer Sites -> 50/50 split)
Willingness to be trained into other machines beyond Swiss Machines
