Fabricator (Granite, Quartz, Countertops) (Manufacturing)

Position: Fabricator - Quartz, Synthetic, and Natural Stone Countertops

Job Summary: The Fabricator works at our Anaheim shop to complete the jobs which R3 has contracted with the owner and/or owner agent

Salary: Negotiable/DOE

Essential Job Duties:

  • Must be experienced with cutting and polishing quartz, granite, marble, and/or similar synthetic and natural stone.

  • Experience cutting with heavy duty/industrial stone cutting saws.

  • Experience cutting and polishing stone with hand grinders/polishers.

  • Experience taking precise measurements and reading design schematics is a plus.

  • Must have a good attitude and be comfortable taking direction from on-site Supervisor and Manager.

  • Meets daily with Supervisor to set priorities of the day.

  • Keeps shop neat and clean at all times.

  • Handles all shop requirements in a timely manner.

  • Adheres to the policies and procedures manual.

  • Maintains a professional, yet friendly demeanor.

  • Must adhere to the company uniform policy during working hours at all projects.

  • Arrives to work on time, follows directions, interacts well with coworkers and residents, and accepts constructive criticism.

  • Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by the Project/Property Foreman or Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Previous quartz countertop fabrication experience preferred.

  • Maintain equipment, follow safety procedures, and be alert to hazards.

  • Physical ability to bend, stretch, stand, climb stairs and walk for long periods up to three hours before taking a break.

  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Willingness and ability to work over time if necessary.

  • Willingness and ability to travel to different job sites daily.
