What is an Account Executive?
The Account Executive is an active and visible role in the Strategic Accounts Department at Ridge Tool Company. This position is responsible for increasing Ridge Tool's sales at assigned National Accounts while developing and maintaining relationships with all key contacts. The portfolio of assigned accounts will include distributors in the Industrial and Plumbing channels and focused on Business Development. This role is located in our World HQ in Elyria, Ohio USA and reports to the Director, Strategic Accounts.
What We're Looking For
This individual must possess very strong selling, interpersonal and communication skills to reinforce the value of the RIDGID brand and products to assigned distributors. He/she must constantly explore opportunities to increase sales and understand customer and distribution trends while managing all administrative demands of assigned accounts. The Account Executive will work in a dynamic environment within the Strategic Accounts Department and cross-functionally with the RIDGID Sales and Marketing Departments. They will have a deep understanding of sales through distribution, speak effectively to target audiences and be mindful of our customers' needs. They will have a passion for increasing sales, and a strong knowledge of the strategy and tactics to make it happen. A strong bias for action and collaboration will ensure that projects are delivered on time and aligned to corporate strategy.
Responsibilities
• Be point of contact at Ridge Tool Company for all assigned accounts' activities.
• Effectively formulate strategies, tactics, and Business Plans to achieve the desired results at assigned accounts.
• Manage all administrative activity for accounts assigned.
• Administer all promotional activity for assigned accounts and make use of all available advertising/marketing vehicles.
• Facilitate cross-functional relationships between assigned accounts and appropriate departments at Ridge Tool.
• Collaborate and align with field sales force.
• Identify and execute opportunities to grow in the online channel
