Horseshoe CasinoBaltimore on Russell Street in Baltimore's south side opened in August 2014.Horseshoe Baltimore was designed to maximize connectivity with existinghospitality operators, neighboring professional sports venues M&T BankStadium and Camden Yards, and the city's famed Inner Harbor. With nearly122,000 square feet of non-stop gaming action, the casino features videolottery terminals (VLTs), table games, and a World Series of Poker room. Guy Fieri's Baltimore Kitchen and Bar, Gordon Ramsay Steakhouse and Giada DeLaurentiis, and a "Baltimore Marketplace? featuring authentic Charm City foodoutlets round out the food offerings. Horseshoe Baltimore also featuresnightlife at 14forty, Horseshoe's center bar featuring 24/7 entertainment, notto mention bars such as B'More Beers, which highlights some of Baltimore'sfamed brewers.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Scheduling Specialist acts as a liaison between theoperating departments. Responds to and consistently meets the needs of internalclients. Supports and cultivates newideas and methods to deliver business solutions. Identifies ways to increase efficiencies orimprove product or service. Deliversassignments/projects on time and completes all aspects before delivering tointernal clients. Clearly communicatesprograms/services to necessary people, seeks their support and keeps theminformed of changes that may impact the business. Partners with operationalleads to identify process improvements, and is responsible for helping drivethe application of LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies. The Scheduling Specialiststays up to date with the latest developments in the profession and developsskills to handle increasingly complex matters.
They handle all payroll adjustments, schedule generation and changes, PTOapprovals and schedule switches. They are also responsible for accuratelyrecording and tracking FMLA, department policy infractions, exceptionassignments as well as producing and tracking documentation for performancefeedback. The Scheduling Specialist works directly with employees andmanagers providing resolutions to schedule and payroll issues. Theyoversee the handling of all time adjustments up to the issuance to payroll forprocessing. The Scheduling Specialist serves in a Client Manager capacityfor the departments they oversee, providing support within the Centralizedscheduling structure when necessary. Scheduling Specialists make use ofall applications available to track and properly record information related todepartments as well as employees. They maintain employee folders bothelectronically as well as paper based. They help to coordinate effortsbetween other departments such as Human Resources, Compliance, Payroll andCompliance.

Works with all Centralized scheduling departments to assist in completing administrative tasks
Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• College Degree Preferred
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables instandardized situations.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed butuninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Must be able to use a computer: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Must be able to 10 key and be proficient in typing skills
• Must be able to maneuver to all area of the casino, including in andaround pit areas.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, twist and grip items whennecessary.
• Must be able to stand/ walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
