Recruiter (Human Resources)



Work Schedule: Full time position.  Hours are typically Monday-Friday; day shift.  Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This is a work from home position for WI & IL residents.  Some onsite work is required for meetings and career events.

Help attract, source and assist in onboarding a variety of contracted staff who provide services and work alongside our remarkable team at the #1 hospital in Wisconsin!

We are seeking a Recruiter within the Human Resources team to:

  • Consult with hiring managers to determine needs, review position requirements, develop recruitment strategies, source candidates, review resumes, and liaison with staffing agencies to select qualified candidates to fill contracted positions. 
  • Work proactively with a variety of agency personnel and collaboratively with leaders to develop proactive recruitment plans.
  • Work closely with onboarding specialists to ensure and a smooth and stream-lined onboarding experience.
  • Participate in and support recruitment events promoting healthcare and employment at UW Health – this could include attending job fairs and, virtual/in-person hiring events. Some limited travel may be required.

Education:

Minimum – Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resource management or relevant field. Four (4) years of experience in recruitment and selection related activities may be considered in lieu of the Bachelor's degree in addition to the experience below.

Work Experience:

Minimum – Two (2) years of professional level human resources experience in recruitment and selection related activities.
