Quality Assurance Document Control Associate (Biotech)

Lonza Pharma & Biotech has an excellent opportunity for a Quality Assurance Document Control Associate at their Bend, Oregon location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuous development and knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of Quality Systems
  • Lead projects
  • Control record management including receipt, reconciliation, scanning and verification, record check-out/check-in and maintain scanned record back-ups
  • Control, handling, and maintenance of electronic and paper controlled GMP documents and records during development, revision, last approval, and withdrawal
  • Controlled document issuance and tracking
  • Support audit activities
  • Manage and maintain employee training records
  • Controlled numbering issuance and tracking
  • Author documents in DMS
  • Other duties as required

Key Requirements:

  • High School Diploma at minimum, Associates degree preferred
  • Some work experience in the pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in software applications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to work with multi-functional groups in a fast-paced environment
  • Individual must be a team player prepared to work in and embrace a team-based culture that relies on collaboration for effective decision-making
  • Demonstrated balance of collaborative leadership and autonomous problem solving
