Responsible for the design and development of controls software for electrified drivetrain systems. Provide customer support for in-field deployment of electrified drivetrain systems. Key interface between the software team and mechanical/systems engineering to ensure customer requirements are met with the highest standard.
Job Responsibilities:
• Work with cross functional team developing specifications for electrified drivetrain systems
• Specify and design system application software & diagnostics for electrified drivetrains
• Work with customers to specify software features and system interfaces
• Develop validation & calibration plans for in-vehicle support
• Work closely with mechanical, systems and electrical engineering teams to develop diagnostic trouble code matrix, data identifiers, and diagnostic routines for series production electrified drivetrain
• Ensure compliance with customers' requirements for diagnostics, J1939 and OBD standards
• Participate in creating documentation and service manual for customer integration
• Assist in the writing and testing the end-of-line process standards
• Document and track issues, maintain the list through the life of the program
• Integral part of ISO 26262 Functional Safety team
• Troubleshoot issues and testing systems on benches and in vehicles
