The Core Technician II is a scientist role with the majority of the work done inside the cleanroom environment
Job Description
The Core Technician II is responsible for participating in aseptic processing of clinical grade product, maintaining and stocking clean room environment, cleaning and up keep of GMP suites and surrounding supportive areas, monitoring temperatures, expiration of materials and calibrated equipment. A majority of the work is done in cleanroom environment. While working in the cleanroom, scrubs, hairnet, shoe covers, hood, goggles, gown, mask, boots and two pairs of gloves are required.
Required Skills:
•Ability to read, understand and follow production schedule.
•Ability to read, understand and follow SOP's.
•Ability to understand importance of compliance with cGMP's.
•Ability to perform aseptic gowning on a daily basis.
•Good eye/hand coordination.
•Computer software skills including Microsoft Office, organization skills, record keeping, time management, regular attendance
•Written and oral communication, team oriented, independent work skills, strong work ethic
Maintenance of quality systems and cGMP compliance for the business by ensuring that all team members comply with processes, procedures and instructions for all activities in which the team participates. Able to perform procedures according to written guidelines and recognize a deviation from accepted practice.
Education
Associates Degree with industry experience or a Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
