Test Technician (Architecture)
Responsibilities
Review and provide feedback for upcoming test requests/schedules on a regular basis.
Assist with the installation of fixtures, data acquisition systems, instrumentation, and ATD's.
Ensure that testing devices and equipment are maintained and calibrated.
Test compliance of products.
Follow and provide input on Standard Operating Procedures, supporting documentation, and overall procedures to increase quality and/or productivity.
Maintain the required documentation and communication throughout the test service.
Review, analyze, and evaluate test data.
Assist with tours of CAPE facilities when requested.
Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
AAS degree in a technical field.
Experience
Two or more years of specialized training in a related technical field.
Two or more years of work experience in a related work environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Experience using hand and power tools
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be mobile for the entire day (not a desk job).
Must be able to lift 100 lbs. occasionally, 75 lbs. frequently, and 50 lbs. constantly.
Must be able to travel as the need arises (training, seminars, and/or off-site customer testing).
Must be able to provide coverage after hours and weekends as required to support customer testing and meet project deadlines.
