Job Summary
Ascend Learning is seeking an accomplished, diligent editor with strong communication skills to join our Learning Products team as a developmental editor. As part of the Innovative Learning Sciences organization, the developmental editor will be responsible for leading the editorial efforts and coordinating with lead authors in the development of various learning products at Ascend, including online textbook-replacement products.
They will also coordinate with illustrators, media developers, permissions editors, and project managers. The developmental editor will help ensure that learning products are structured to meet market and learning needs and will guarantee concision, clarity, and consistency of voice and style. This position reports to the Director of Learning Products.
This is a remote role.
