Position Summary:
You will support the training department in the planning, organization, implementation and evaluation of training programs. Exhibit experience and aptitude to learn and perform in the following areas: product, systems, service and sales, technical and remote learning and leadership development. The Coordinator assumes leadership and supervisory responsibilities within the training department comparable to a department Lead. You will primarily support the Business Outfitters contact center. As a cross functional team member of the Operations Division, you may support embroidery and distribution center areas as needed.
Successful candidates should have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Develops, maintains, implements and monitors training effectiveness with a range of training programs including curriculum, on-line learning resources, and job aides etc.
• Works with business partners to schedule trainers or support along with training programs.
• Interviews and selects qualified candidates for assigned training areas. Ensures attendance at applicable leadership trainings throughout the year. Provides support and gives direction to trainers throughout a training program.
• Provides performance feedback to assistants, trainees and trainers by documenting performance and writes and delivers performance reviews.
• Assists in the direction and motivation of the department as a team by role modeling the desired commitment to department goals, assisting with projects outside one's area of focus and treating all department members as customers.
• Collaborates and engages with team members remotely to ensure consistency, teamwork and open communication.
• Project management and decision making skills as well as analytical, problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Demonstrated experience creating and managing online learning content. Aptitude to create digital learning with an authoring tool.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Effectively facilitate training presentations with large and small groups.
• Experience and/or knowledge of needs assessments, data analysis and related program development with writing training programs.
• Experience in goal setting, program development and program evaluation.
• Background in education or related experience with emphasis on adult learning styles.
• Ability to stand up to 3 hours at a time delivering training programs.
• Willing to travel between locations when required.
