About the Opportunity
The National Procurement Office is looking for strong Business Analysts to help drive our System Strategic goals for the Federal Reservice System These Analyst work to provide support to the 15 Procurement offices across the System to, supporting end users within the business process executions within SAP Ariba to include but not limited to enable system catalogs, ensure catalog data accuracy, enabling new suppliers, reviewing of new product induction and product replacement for entries which have reached the end of their life-cycle. Daily, you will analyze large amounts of data, discover and solve problems and build metrics and business cases around key programs.
What You Will Do:
Maintain the quality and consistency of critical procurement data.
Support the development of a cohesive enterprise-wide procurement master data management strategy.
Maintain, analyze and update master data management processes for materials, vendors, catalogs etc.
Monitor and report the quality of procurement master data. Lead and support data quality and strategy initiatives.
Evaluate, manage, and resolve issues and risks to ensure data security and business alignment.
Consult with Center of Excellence and other procurement teams regarding visual design, data, tools capability and reporting solutions.
Work with suppliers for uploading, maintenance, management of and changes to supplier catalogs as directed by Category Managers.
Assist in providing data for supplier, market and category spend analysis.
Be the voice of the customer and articulate their needs.
Ensure that the right information is delivered to the right audience at the right time.
Clearly articulate feature scope, timeline, owners, risks, and the steps being taken to mitigate those risk
Accelerate progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers and by escalating appropriately.
Articulate customer pain points from a technical perspective and determine if the right Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are in place and, if not, work to define them.
Retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Oracle Agile and other data management systems.
Monitor existent metrics, analyzing data and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
Design and implement reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or Mathematics or equivalent experience
Proven Strong analytical skills
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
Experience with Excel, SQL, Perl or other scripting languages
Experience with Network Infrastructure components
