National Business Development Representative (Information Technology)



What You Will Do

The National Business Development Representative makes outbound phone calls to Non Residential General Contractor prospects with over $100M in revenue.  They are responsible for generating interest our cloud based SaaS solutions, scheduling & confirming demonstration appointments for Sales Consultants.  The National Business Development Representative works in collaboration with team members to achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Your Day to Day Essential Duties

  • Outbound calls that seek to understand the unique preconstruction needs of each individual General Contractor Prospect
  • Delivery of succinct value proposition and product information to prospects
  • Documentation of all activity, calls and results in Salesforce.com
  • Set qualified appointments for the Sales Consultants and enter information in Salesforce.com
  • Cold call from lists provided identifying targeted accounts, follow up on outbound marketing campaigns and responses to campaigns, and work independently to seek out prospects who can most benefit from the product suite to help the team meet objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training as it relates to our products, services and sales training opportunities

What You Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor's Degree + 1 year of B2B sales experience OR Associates Degree and 3 years of account management or sales experience OR HS Diploma and 5 years of account management or sales experience OR 1 year in a ConstructConnect role.

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the working day
  • Needs to occasionally move about the office to communicate with staff and attend meetings
  • Constantly operates a computer
  • Frequently communicates verbally with peers and management
  • Must be able to analyze detail close-up
