Guard (Finance)
Position Summary
The Guard is responsible to protect property and personnel by patrolling the facility and acting as access control for visitors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain security of premises by conducting inside and outside patrols of the secure facilityMaintain a professional appearance, uniform and manner at all timesCoordinate with police, fire and emergency medical personnel when necessaryProvide customer service by making sure doors are secure and vehicles display proper permitsMake sure any trespasses or crimes are reported to the local police authoritiesComplete daily activity log and monitor camera systemMonitor areas for safety hazards including theft and vandalismAvailability to work overtime when required
Technical and Physical Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious security experience preferredAbility to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for duration of shiftAbility to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances between and within buildings on the propertyMust have a valid Drivers LicenseAbility to work in all weather conditions
