Global Trade Classification Analyst (Finance)

NVIDIA is looking to hire a Trade Compliance Classification Analyst to join our growing worldwide Global Trade Compliance team. Responsibilities will require knowledge of U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Wassenaar Arrangement Dual-Use List, and harmonized tariff schedules.

What you will be doing:

  • Developing and improving internal processes on classifying NVIDIA's products (both hardware and software).
  • Assigning export control classification numbers (ECCNs) to software, technology, integrated circuits, electronic assemblies, and computer systems primarily described in Categories 3, 4, and 5 (Parts 1 and 2).
  • Assigning tariff classifications (HTS and schedule B) to items primarily described in Chapter 84, 85, and 90.
  • Support global shipping transactions and dispositions.
  • Working with NVIDIA cross-functional teams to improve work efficiency related to classifications.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or computer science (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in export classification in the high-tech industry.
  • Expertise in product classification (HS-Code / ECCN).
  • Understanding of U.S. EAR and other export control regulation jurisdictions.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SAP.

  • Ability to work cross functionally to achieve our business and compliance objectives.
  • Ability to learn quickly, organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment; manage day-to-day activities independently and with minimal direction; strong communication (verbal and written), attention to detail and time management skills.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 84,000 USD - 143,750 USD.
