Senior Producer Digital Services (Marketing)



We are seeking a full-time Senior Producer Digital Services for our headquarters in the greater Kansas City area.  In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the content production and archiving of all creative content/projects including broadcast, video, social media, print and digital materials to ensure creative quality and appropriate arrival of projects by requested deadline and within production budget.


Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Issue Scope of Work to vendors and reconcile all vendor invoices received against original Purchase Order to evaluate final project cost
  • Bid/estimate jobs through outside vendors to provide detailed schedule for air/delivery of content
  • Work closely with the Post Producer to assign internal resources or outside vendors as required, work closely with them to ensure the accuracy of the job in its final state, and provide instruction on final delivery of assets
  • Work alongside Lead Business Producer to ensure vendor payment and vendor set up
  • Provide final files to international offices, if usage rights permit, and as requested by International Communications Specialist or EMEA team
  • Attend input meetings to gain full knowledge of requested project(s)
  • Communicate with Project Managers and assigned resources regarding schedule changes and expectations and Account Manager team regarding props and/or products required for production needs
  • Provide Final Cost Summary to workflow system/SharePoint and Executive Producer when project is completed and continually strive to be under budget
  • Provide regular status updates on all active producer-driven projects

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications AND a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience of all industry aspects including post audio, original score, high end color session OR a minimum of 1 year of hands-on production experience AND a minimum of 4 years of Garmin/MarComm experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of AICP line items and bidding process
  • Ability to develop strong rapport and trust with segment leaders, marketing managers, global associates, and extended Garmin teams (UX, ID, etc.)
  • Multifaceted agency production experience that spans photography, video, digital, web builds, print production, events, outdoor, stunts, even the occasional physical object (Portfolio of work required)
  • Ability to stay abreast of digital technology advancements with emphasis on video, broadcast, interactive, and motion graphics technologies
  • Sound understanding of scoping and staffing for heavy productions
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be positive, detail oriented, organized, analytical, team oriented, driven problem solver, and self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Understanding of all the varied aspects of video & motion graphics production
  • Experience in producing fully internal productions and execute fully out of house productions 

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skill in electronic audio/visual production
  • Postproduction Software experience (avid/aftereffects etc.)
