Responsible for managing the teams, partners, processes, and technologies that deliver print and digital communications accurately, efficiently, and timely to members, prospects, providers, groups, brokers, and other key audiences for EmblemHealth, ConnectiCare and AdvantageCare Physicians.
Provide project management leadership for large production initiatives, such as transitioning to a new letter generation system or mapping new digital paths for paperless portal communications.
Engage key stakeholders, oversee cross-functional teams, drive decisions, navigate roadblocks, report out on status, and run projects to ground.
Oversee production unit: direct day-to-day work and ensure teams and partners follow best practices in the methodology and delivery of production services for print, paperless, and digital outputs.
Manage key vendors (TSG), partners (Cognizant teams), and other stakeholders who collaborate on day-to-day work.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the department's functional point of contact and technical subject matter expert for production of all communication and marketing initiatives for EmblemHealth, ConnectiCare and AdvantageCare Physicians: print, paperless, and digital.
Establish guiding principles and lead decision-making to deliver high-quality print, paperless, and digital outputs.
Proactively collaborate and develop strong relationships with internal clients, partners, vendors, and other stakeholders to fully understand business needs and functional requirements (such as digital/paperless preference or preferred language) and effectively deliver on shared goals.
Plan and execute complex projects: develop and maintain an integrated project plan that specifies objectives, timelines, and key deliverables; facilitate project meetings; ensure appropriate resources have been allocated; provide status updates; follow up on deliverables; manage expectations. Identify, anticipate, prevent, mitigate, communicate, and monitor risks and obstacles. Work with appropriate parties to resolve; escalate if needed.
Maintain knowledge of latest technologies relevant to present and future enterprise communications projects.
Lead Production team: identify priorities and provide strategic direction; align work with overall department and enterprise goals; assign projects and direct day-to-day work; monitor progress; coach and provide feedback; help navigate barriers and develop skillsets.
Oversee systems and processes for requesting quotes and assigning projects; manage, track, and report out on team's work.
Provide clear guidance to team on operational processes and expectations; guide larger projects.
Create and maintain organizational structure - convene huddles, team meetings, and other appropriate forums for sharing and cascading information.
Coordinate relationship on behalf of Corporate Affairs department with key production partners, especially TSG and,Cognizant (DocSci, Inspire, etc.).
Establish and monitor quality standards and service level agreements with partners.
Accountable for ensuring vendors and partners have clear guidance to deliver projects accurately, on time, within budget, and according to our operational standards.
Establish regular cadence of meetings; schedule additional touchpoints as needed around special projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in healthcare, business, or related field
(PMI) Project Management certification preferred.
5 - 8+ years of related work experience, especially in production of print and/or digital materials.
Experience working with data, even if only rudimentary.
Broad-based business knowledge of the technologies, applications, and processes supporting the development, maintenance, and implementation of communication initiatives.
Solid understanding of business and IT strategies.
Strategic and analytical thinker who can set and deliver on business goals; ability to "connect the dots" and see how large and small details fit into, and impact, projects. Ability to quickly digest and navigate unknown, complex concepts.
Outstanding attention to detail; organizing, prioritizing, time management, and multitasking skills.

Working knowledge of program/project management across multiple products and lines of business.

Knowledgeable in Visio and Project.
Excellent communications skills (verbal, written, presentation), and the ability to articulate clearly and simply to all types and levels of audiences; ability to negotiate and persuade to facilitate alignment of stakeholders.
Ability to deal with the ambiguity that sometimes comes from working cross-functionally and in a changing organization.
Industry level understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial lines of business; health insurance products and concepts in general.
