Parkside is a private, nonprofit organization with a long history of service to children, adolescents and adults. Recent expansion includes a new $38M, 114,500 square foot hospital building. The new hospital added 80 single-occupancy patient rooms and increased system capacity to 136 beds. This state-of-the-art facility provides expanded patient amenities including secure, open-air balcony areas, in-house food service and cafeteria and additional treatment accommodations. The new hospital was recently named winner of the ABC 2020 Excellence in Construction Award in the Category for Healthcare $25-100m. Although this ultramodern building is a great place for patient care, more important is the quality of the employee team and their years of service in providing patient care.
Adult programs include Inpatient Hospitalization, Detox, Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program. Individual and Outpatient services, and an Injection Clinic. Programming for youth includes Inpatient Acute Hospitalization, Residential Psychiatric Treatment and Outpatient Services.
In addition to the clinical services provided, Parkside's patient assistance program provides a robust food pantry program which supplies food, hygiene and other basic needs supplies for both patients and family members. Patient assistance also provides for clothing and transportation assistance.
