Contract Administrator I (Education)



Analytical – Analyze large data-sets including transactional data, commodity pricing and other market variables of a mildly sensitive nature.

Disciplined - knows how to balance the desire to get a deal closed with the discipline to stay aligned with the company's core principles and strategy.  

Determined - enjoys taking on challenges and likes “rolling up your sleeves and getting stuff done”.

Collaborative –liaises with various company stakeholders to gather information and approvals necessary for pricing and contract-related matters.

Passionate – has passion for both business and law; exhibits a strong team and service-oriented mentality; some experience in both finance and contracts is a plus!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer high volume of contracts and/or sales requests in accordance with company policies and procedures with a focus on customer service, success and retention.
  • Provide interpretation and analysis of contract documents.
  • Review and evaluate requests for changes in, or revisions of, contracts and take corrective actions as needed in accordance with company policy.
  • Liaison between sales organization and legal/compliance; provide support during contract preparation and negotiations.
  • Analyze data to identify trends in order to provide guidance to sales and to leadership.
  • Develop internal training materials relating to the contracting process and identify steps to increase efficiency.
  • Help develop and implement new policies, procedures and contract templates.
  • Work closely with members of finance and other departments to help ensure compliance with cross-functional policies.
  • Complete special projects as requested such as collaborating on department-wide or company-wide initiatives.
  • Organize and prioritize work effectively.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business a plus.
  • 1-3 years experience in either business and/or legal field (i.e. paralegal) a plus.
  • Beginning-Intermediate understanding of contractual/legal language in contracts and demonstrate an understanding of each party's obligations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A team player with a commitment to get things done.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt in a changing environment.
  • Knowledge of food service or hospitality industry a plus.
  • Knowledge of supply chain systems and solutions a plus.
  • Always thinking customer first, both success and retention.
  • Drafting and redlining experience a plus.
  • Working knowledge in Smartsheet, MS Word, MS Excel, Google, Salesforce (all a plus).

 

$26.00 to $30.00 per hour
