Marketing Assistant (Finance)



Our Company's culture supports customers in achieving their financial goals and dreams.  This position is a support position responsible for a wide variety of ongoing projects within the Marketing Department, which also supports multiple departments throughout the financial institution.  You'll be able to help contribute to this by:

Job Duties:

  • Assist in the development of marketing campaigns, promotions, and events
  • Assist with digital content creation (lobby screens, social media, intranet and website)
  • Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing materials digital and print content
  • Support marketing management and team with various projects and performing ad hoc projects as needed
  • Participate in community and civic events (purchasing food & supplies, setting up, and taking photos).
  • Maintain marketing files, documentation, and brand guides
  • Supporting marketing management, processing invoices, preparing presentations, reports, and meeting agendas, as needed.
  • Maintaining knowledge of banking products and services.
  • Complying with privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection.
  • Complying with all federal, state, and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.
  • Completing and passing all required regulatory compliance training as assigned.
  • Performing any additional duties and tasks assigned by management

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.
  • Ability to accept change, adapt to shifting organizational challenges and priorities and manage multiple tasks at once while adhering to deadlines.
  • Familiarity with social media and email marketing
  • Must be available to travel to different locations as needed.

Education, Experience, and Licenses:

  • High School diploma or equivalent- required
  • Minimum 1 year experience with computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook- required
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)- preferred
  • Digital photography and video editing experience- preferred
