Electrical Specialist Level 1 - 1st Shift (Architecture)



Job Summary:

  • Perform all industrial electrical repairs and installations following all code and safety requirements.

    Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm plus overtime as scheduled

Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.  Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Set up, maintain and repair production equipment and industrial support systems.
  • Perform test and repairs on PLC, controlled manufacturing lines with digital and analog units.
  • Must be computer literate and desire to work with windows based test equipment.
  • Layout and install electrical wiring per N.E.C. and local codes.
  • Perform light mechanical repairs to pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Exhibit safe work practices.
  • Must be flexible to work overtime.
  • Maintain specific quality standards.
  • Assist in training others in electrical specialist related functions.
  • Must Maintain a high rate of productivity.
  • All work neat and presented in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a team environment & maintain regular attendance.
  • Must be able to work overtime as business need dictates.

Requirements:

  • 2 year Degree and/or 7-10 years of Experience
  • Must be certified as an "authorized" logout tagout associate.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Passing score on Electrical Evaluation Test
