Job Summary

Responsibilities include perform monthly inspections and preventive maintenance, correspond with vendors and different suppliers for orders and quotes, ensure deliveries are timely and correct. Once delivery has been made all shipping documents processed for further actions, ensure that all paperwork is completed for invoicing purposes. Inventory control and organization of the maintenance warehouse. Help with screening of potential new contractors, and track and report monthly contractor hours. Conduct contractor orientations and write safe work permits as needed. Assist Maintenance Supervisor in managing SAP preventative maintenance program and work order system.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be available for overtime (including weekends and holidays) as required.
  • Must have the ability to climb ladders/work in high locations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely near large, hot, high-speed machines.
  • Must be able to read, follow and understand schematics, drawings (including ladder logic), and other diagrams.
  • Two years of manufacturing experience preferred.

Job Duties

  • Correspond with vendors/suppliers.
  • Monthly inspections.
  • Screening new vendors/contractors.
  • Inventory control/organization of maintenance warehouse.
  • Track monthly contractor hours.
  • Shipping documents/invoicing documentation.
  • Inputting information into computer.
