Distributor Replenishment Plan (DRP), Inventory Planner (Beer Division) (Transportation)
This role functions as the subject matter expert on distributor replenishment planning. The primary responsibilities of this position are to convert commercial depletions demand for all Beer Division wholesalers into viable distributor billings requirements which meet customer expectations in a cost-effective manner. This individual will support the team by planning and analyzing distributor inventory levels, changes in demand, and distributor order behaviors to provide the best possible distributor replenishment plan for their assigned business unit. This plan serves as the operational and financial signal for the organization.
Utilizes the commercial depletion demand signal, distributor on-hand inventory and distributor inventory targets to generate net wholesaler Billings requirements that delivers a comprehensive Distributor Replenishment Plan across the entire Beer organization, which meet all financial requirements, operational capabilities and wholesalers service objectives.
Facilitates exception-based planning to maintain targeted inventory levels and prevent stock-outs at CBI wholesalers.
Communicates and interacts with demand planners, customer management, supply planning, sales, and finance to provide distributor replenishment plans and exception-based reporting. Makes recommendations on actions needed to meet actual and forecasted demand.
Reports Key Performance Indicators for the Distributor Replenishment Planning Team such as Distributor Inventory DOH, Distributor Out-Of-Stocks, and Service levels Assists with process improvement initiatives and prioritizes tasks and deliverables in a timeline intense environment.
Responsible for planning related JDA programs and parameters including maintenance, updates, tuning, documentation, and enhancements. Coordinates with Information Technology and other related departments.
Supports the Distributor Replenishment Planning Manager to drive continuous improvement efforts to improve performance on all key metrics, including service targets and distributor inventory levels.
Must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in an integrated forecast/supply planning system environment (JDA preferred). Experience within the Beverage alcohol industry a plus. Minimum of 2 to 3 years of overall business experience.
Must have excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to translate analytical skills into high-level analysis and inventory planning. Supply chain and Inventory Planning experience and skills are a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Must have the ability to learn new software.
Requires excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate well across all levels of the organization. Must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with both internal and external customers.
Must be able to make decisions independently and recommend viable solutions to problems and issues. Must be able to mediate conflict issues and drive planning and data gathering meetings to successful resolutions.
Must be willing and able to learn and acquire new skills and abilities.
Thorough understanding of various functions of Supply Chain and how they interconnect
Proven ability to adapt, leverage, and be a promoter of change
Ability to identify gaps in processes and make recommendations for improvements. Always looking to improve efficiencies for self and team
CPG or beverage experience preferred but not required

Must be able to work in a professional corporate office environment.

Must have close vision, distant vision, ability to adjust focus, peripheral and color vision.
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and work on a computer for extended periods.
