As a Billing and Insurance Specialist for Homeland HomeHealth, you would contribute to our community of caring by processing insurance verifications and billing for patient visits.
Homeland HomeHealth is a fast-growing provider of in-home healthcare that offers convenient and effective skilled nursing care in the comfort of our patients own home. Using compassion and skill, our nurses provide physician-ordered medical treatment to promote healing, independence, and the best possible quality of life. We believe in a multiple-disciplined approach to help patients in their healing journey, which includes wound care, cardiac care, palliative care, fall prevention, rehabilitation services, intravenous therapy, and other care services.
This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, position,This is an in-person and office-based position. Remote applicants need not apply.

As Homeland HomeHealths Insurance and Billing Specialist you would be responsible for verifying patient insurance and managing accurate and timely completion and submission of the billing, collections, and accounts receivable functions of the organization. A critical component of this role is to demonstrate the agencys culture of compassion, accountability, and results by displaying the highest standards of integrity, superb follow-through, consistency, first rate customer service and exceptional client satisfaction.
Insurance and Billing Specialist Requirements include:
Education/ Skills
High school diploma or equivalent. Proficient computer skills in business applications. Knowledge of office equipment (i.e. printer, fax, computer) use and simple maintenance. Possess strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with diverse populations. Ability to apply problem-solving techniques to assigned duties. Ability to multi-task effectively. Ability to collect, interpret, and/ or analyze complex data and information.
Experience
Minimum age requirement of 18 with high school diploma or GED. Minimum of one (1) year of home care/ home health billing experience.
Licensure, Registration, and Certification
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation that is insured in accordance with Pennsylvania state requirements. Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers. Satisfactory criminal background check. Access to reliable internet access outside of the work setting.
