The Associate Director (AD) serves as a guide to physician practices in their transformation from fee-for-service to value-based care. As a population health subject matter expert, the AD consults with practices on process improvements to help physicians enhance the patient experience and contribute to a net positive impact on the healthcare delivered in the greater Philadelphia area.
The AD will be assigned a geographic region within the five county Philadelphia area and will provide frontline customer service as well as hold accountability for the clinical, operating, and financial performance of the practices in their region. The ideal candidate will be able to accommodate client availability for regular meetings with a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday, expecting to spend time visiting practices both ‘virtually' and in person.
To be successful in this role, candidates will need to demonstrate a strong sense of collaboration with clients and teammates, an ability to foster positive relationships, and excellent leadership capabilities. A high level of emotional intelligence and demonstrated skills in facilitating change management are required, in addition to the ability to navigate client “office politics.” A passion for being part of the solution in helping improve healthcare is an absolute must!
How this role makes a difference:
Minimum 7-10 years progressive experience in a healthcare-related organization is required. Primary Care Practice operations experience, or in-depth knowledge of practice operations, preferred
Strong clinical and/or financial acumen a plus
Previous experience in management consulting, business development, sales, and/or marketing a plus
Lean belt(s) or a strong understanding of – and experience applying – Lean principles a plus
Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) credential, or equivalent, a plus
Other healthcare-related professional certifications a plus
