Radiologic Tech - MRI - The American Center (Healthcare)
Join our REMARKABLE Healthcare team as a Radiologic Tech – MRI
We are seeking a Radiologic Tech - MRI:
· Perform technical imaging examinations and complex and specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging equipment and systems.
· Work independently in this position with all patient age groups and varying locations.
· Responsible for maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.
· Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.
· Participate in the instruction of other fellows, residents, physicians and visiting health care professionals and may also participate in clinical research.
Education:
Minimum – Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology
Preferred – Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Work Experience:
Minimum – Previous healthcare experience
Preferred – Two (2) years of clinic experience
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum – Certification by appropriate body (ARRT, and valid Wisconsin Radiological License, CPR certification required within 3 months of hire, MRI Certification within 30 months of hire.
Preferred – MRI certification

· Ability to work in a high magnetic field up to 3.0 Tesla (any implanted device must meet 3.0 Tesla limits).
· Knowledge regarding quality improvement and standards of care within practice area.
· Physical ability to lift and position patients and assist with patient transfers utilizing beds or stretchers.
· Capable of demonstrating flexibility with demands of external/internal customers placed on operating functions of the department.
· Basic computer skills.
· Physical ability to lift and position patients and assist with patient transfers utilizing beds or stretchers.
· Ability to work overtime as needed.
· Demonstrates critical care skills to patients with higher acuity. (ED, ICU, NICU, PICU, Intraoperative Neuro MR, OR).
Physical Requirements:
Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Work Schedule:
100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Scheduled shifts are primarily 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Required to work standby call and holidays. May be scheduled during the day based on operational needs and may include weekends as well as rotating to multiple sites. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
