The Benefits Team performs strategic planning, benefits plan design, employee communication, vendor management, compliance and administration for US and International benefit programs for 3,000 employees in numerous countries.
The Benefits Intern may assist in the following types of activities:
Schedule benefit events in local offices, coordinating with vendors and local office contacts and managing the meeting logistics.
Perform data audits of information in various internal and external vendor systems.
Review the benefit information on our company intranet for accuracy, consistency and ease of use, make recommendations for changes and implement updates.
Review and optimize the folder filing system on our benefits shared drive.
Assist with benefits administration including scheduling meetings, filing, processing invoices, researching questions and auditing data files.
Perform research and assist with various projects as needed
Candidates must be students currently enrolled in a college/university
Demonstrate leadership experience through work/school related activities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong Excel skills
Demonstrate strong organizational and detailed oriented skills
Must work well within a team environment and have a positive attitude
Candidates must be open to working on a variety of projects and tasks
Human Resources, Social Science, Finance, Marketing or similar major preferred
