Plumbing Technician (Finance)
Remove and reinstall pumps, filters, manifolds, valves.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform repairs to piping systems of various materials (PVC, copper, PEX, CuNi, stainless steel, etc.) using various joining methods (solder, glue, radial crimp, flare, compression, etc.)
Clean, service, repair or replace piping systems and components.
Perform pressure tests and return system back into service.
Install high end toilets, bidets, sinks, shower heads and fixtures.
Follow all schematics and documented procedures in accordance with all Quality Control and marine classification standards that apply to the job.
Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
Works closely with co-workers, management and safety coordinator to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
TECHNICAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience with repairing various valves and actuators.
Proficient with the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Problem Solving - Identifies, communicates, and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information. Works well in group and individual problem-solving situations.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Imperial and Metric.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schematic form.
Frequently required to lift up to 50 lbs.
