Security Supervisor (Security)



Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Evening/Night Shift. Monday – Friday; 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM. Off hours business hours may be required, based on the operational needs of the department.

Play a critical role in keeping patients, visitors and staff safe at the #1 hospital in Wisconsin.

We are seeking a Security Supervisor to:

  • Supervise, assign and evaluate the activities of shift personnel, ensuring adherence to department and UW Health policies and procedures.
  • Plan daily assignments and conduct daily briefings for security operations.
  • Assess shift personnel and equipment needs.
  • Assist with shift operations as needed.
  • Cover as supervisor at University Hospital as needed.

Education:

Minimum – High School Diploma

Preferred – College degree in related field

Work Experience:

Minimum – Two (2) years relevant work-related experience

Preferred – Five (5) years hospital security/supervision experience

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – Valid Driver's License Completion of IAHSS Supervisor Certification within 6 months of hire

  • Ability to be insured by Hospital's risk management insurer which requires (1) a valid Wisconsin Driver's License and (2) successfully passing a driving background check
