Turtle & Hughes is seeking an Inside Sales Associate at the Clark, NJ Location.

The Inside Sales Associate will market and sell Turtle & Hughes aligned products and services into electrical contractor based customers. This position is expected to develop, grow, and maintain relationships that will increase exposure and build relationships with key customers to enhance long-term business prospects and profit.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to respond to a variety of challenging circumstances while continuing to demonstrate superior selling skills for important customer services and application
• Use industrial & electrical product knowledge to better communicate with customers
• Use negotiating skills while understanding and using sales techniques needed to close orders
• Prepare sales proposals that meet customer expectation's
• Willingness to learn about all aspects of electrical and industrial distribution

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum 1 years of electrical distribution inside sales experience preferred. Willing to train a motivated entry-level individual
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive decisions with influence.
• Electrical supplies product knowledge required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional phone demeanor
• Sales motivated individual
