Warehouse Associate Second Shift (Project Management)

The Warehouse Associate is an integral part of the supply chain process. The role will support our operation in a cross-functional setting.   This position requires a safety mindset, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work in a team setting.  The ideal candidate will have attention to detail and the ability to solve problems on the fly. 

 

Job Summary:

·       Handle and identify material

·       Daily follow-up of all warehouse related functions

·       Cross train in other departments

·       Materials: move, search, and count

·       Execute material movement audits

·       Conduct inventory transactions in MRP system

 

 Job Functions:

 

  • Product identification and sorting
  • Pack, move, wrap, ship, materials
  • Find missing materials
  • Work in other areas as needed
  • Assist and train new associates as needed.
  • Performs necessary housekeeping duties to maintain clean work environment   
  • Other duties as assigned  

This is a full time position, second shift.  Hours are 330p-2a, Monday through Thursday, plus overtime.  $13.75 per hour, plus shift differential,  with increase at 3 months!  

 

 

Basic Qualifications:

Ability to understand directions and follow through.

Basic math skills including counting.  

Ability to stand, squat, bend, and lean for shift.  

Must be able to lift 30 lbs unassisted.  Over 30 lbs does require a lift device or help from a colleague.  

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED are preferred, but, not necessary.  

  • Prior warehouse or operations experience. 

  • Must perform duties in compliance with all safety rules and regulations required by

              company, federal, state, and local provisions

 

 

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position may exert up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to grasp, finger, lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Incumbent will be required to perform dynamic activities including reaching and stretching, as well as, frequent bending and twisting of the torso.
