Job Description Summary

To prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, hospitably and efficiently, in accordance with Hotel procedures, to guests.

Job Description

• Key Job Functions
  • Properly set-up bars before events.
  • Serve guests throughout events.
  • Properly break down bars at the end of all events.
  • At no time leave the bar area unless properly relieved by a manager, supervisor or another bartender.
  • Assist with emptying trash cans and general sanitation.
  • Make and serve drinks to guests.
  • Fill out liquor requisitions and supply list.
  • Make sure established pars are maintained.
  • Perform all side-work duties.
  • Keep all bar areas neat and clean. Maintain and clean as you go.
  • Set up, break down and lock up liquor and store fruit and juices properly.
  • Make cocktails in accordance with the Hotel beverage standards using a standard jigger. No free pouring.
  • Follow safety procedures and policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Follow Hotel beverage procedures, using the Hotel beverage manual and recipe book as references.
  • Comply with grooming and uniform standards.
