**THIS ROLE IS A LOCAL REMOTE POSITION. YOU MUST RESIDE WITHIN 50 MILES OF THE KLS MARTIN CORPORATE OFFICE.**
Job Summary
The Data Systems Manager is responsible for the oversight, development, and advancement of data systems to include SQL, CRM platform (Salesforce.com), and BI / Operational reporting business tools (Qlik, SSRS). You will discover efficient ways to securely organize, store, and analyze data and ensure the continued growth and development of the CRM platform. You will collaborate with business owners and internal stakeholders to meet their data, reporting, and analytics needs and ensure systems are documented in accordance with our SDLC governance policies.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
• Leadership
• Manage and maintain priorities and project plans for team.
• Lead and implement project and process improvement activities.
• Execute organization staffing and changes to include selection, reviews, disciplinary actions.
• Mentor, coach, and facilitate any training required for team.
Data Systems Management
• Create and enforce policies for secure and effective data management
• Drive continuous improvement and advancement of data systems
• Drive continuous improvement and advancement of CRM platform
• Oversee and steer roadmap and prioritization for CRM platform
• Ensure data security is maintained in compliance with regulations to include HIPAA
• Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming
• Lead requirements gathering and documentation in accordance with SDLC procedures
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy
• Ensure testing is conducted and documented in accordance with STLC procedures
Duties
• Support system implementations/upgrades and system support during and outside of business hours
• Participate in and manage team ‘on-call' coverage for remediation of system errors
• Capable of working outside of standard business hours for support and maintenance as needed
• Capable of working remotely when needed by the business
• Perform other duties as assigned
Educational and Experience Requirements
Bachelors Degree required; preferably in IT Info Systems or Data Science fields
Salesforce.com system administration is preferred
Experience gathering and managing user requirements for system configuration
3+ years experience in database architecting and/or reporting
3+ years supervisory experience
