Product Management and Marketing Director (Finance)
Reporting to the VP/GM of General Industries – Climate Solutions, this will be a critical member of the Climate GI & CR business unit leadership team who will be responsible driving profitable growth through ownership of the product and marketing roadmap for the business unit. This individual will own the product portfolio P&L, drive strong cross functional business leadership, high performance organization and talent development. He/she will be responsible for leading business line/unit growth through customer share gain (existing & new break in), new product introductions, pricing, portfolio mix, 80/20 focus and targeted productivity measures in both existing and selective new markets.
Manages all aspects of assigned product lines and the order/sales forecast associated with them (full life cycle). Executes business plans and strategic marketing programs using 80/20 methodology. This person will be responsible for all aspects of the product life cycle management, develop/manage and implement product/customer marketing strategies, new product development programs, value propositions, price positioning & commercial launch activities to maximize profitable growth for entire Commercial HVAC, Pump Mechanical/Appliance and Commercial refrigeration business portfolio's within Climate Solutions GI & CR BU. This role will include functional responsibility of program management office for driving new product development, cost out VAVE, DFM & complexity reduction projects through structured stage gate process/methodology. This role will also be responsible for leading initiatives focused on driving portfolio share gain & margin expansion by partnering and collaborating with sales, engineering and operations teams globally.
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong cross-functional business leadership, business acumen, change management, team leadership and interpersonal skills. This individual will have direct responsibility of leading, managing and mentoring a team of product managers, market analyst, marketing communications/business dev & program managers as well as indirect leadership of NPD/sustaining, application engineering, operations & sales team to achieve desired business line P&L goals.
