Packager (Finance)
Prepares and adheres labels to each package; verifies that labels for finished packages conform to State regulations.
Tracks product and maintains documentation standards, ensuring products are accounted for throughout the packaging process.
Ensures that all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and compliance and successfully conforms to all State regulations, organizational standards and procedures, and security protocols.
Works successfully in a team setting, take instructions well, and helps on tasks as delegated by Lead or Manager.
Reviews finished product packaging, entering into the Seed to Sale in accordance with departmental guidelines and state regulations.
Manages time efficiently in order to meet productivity goals while consistently producing quality work.
Maintains the highest levels of cleanliness and sanitation inside the processing area and participates in the clean-up of equipment and the workplace at the end of every day.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (QUALITY CONTROL)
Perform product inspection for defects, leaks, and particulates.
Assist in the fill process validations to include inspection of filled units
Perform document review of compounding activities such as cleaning records, line clearance forms, and inventory sheets:
Verify that raw materials meet specification
Verify that all documentation is complete
Document non-compliance and work with supervisor/lead if further investigation is needed
Submit all waste to the appropriate location for particulate identification or microbial analysis.
Assist with press calibration and maintenance record files.
Assist with raw material release and movement.
Support internal & external audits.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/ECT:
The Packager position requires an H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, and knowledge of medical marijuana law.
This is an entry-level position in the cannabis industry. The position requires strong attention to detail, effective time-management skills, and the ability to work in a highly regulated environment.Proficiency in windows-based software and Seed to Sale applications recommended.
Specific state regulatory requirements also include verification, confirmation or completion of the following:
