Inspects work area and equipment prior to beginning operation in accordance with MSHA 30 CFR Parts 46, 56, and 62, State, and Company requirements.
Operates, adjusts, inspects, and cleans processing machinery and associated equipment in accordance with established procedures.
Operates computerized process control equipment and makes necessary process control changes to maintain required production rates and product quality. Process instrumentation and control is a constantly evolving field, and flexibility and adaptability are important in this position.
Performs operating repairs, adjustments, preventive maintenance, and lubrication of processing machinery and associated equipment as directed.
Performs laboratory tests and analysis on silica products and adjusts processing machinery, associated equipment, and product flow accordingly.
Inspects, cleans, and loads trucks and railroad cars in accordance with established procedures, operating requirements, and shipping schedules.
Fuels, lubricates, and makes operating repairs and adjustments to equipment as required.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Operators holding this position must be certified as Oklahoma Surface Mine Supervisor (or able to obtain without prolonged delay).
Ability to operate the following equipment:Railcar mover (Trackmobile), raw sand handling facilities, grinding mills, classifiers, separators, transporters, elevators, conveyors, air slides, storage bins, dust collectors, computerized process controls, forklift, miscellaneous power and hand tools, miscellaneous mobile equipment, laboratory testing equipment, cleanup equipment.
