Job Description
Primary Function of Position
Under direct supervision from the Indirect Purchasing Manager procures MRO (maintenance, repair and operating) supplies, materials, equipment, and services. Process purchase orders via requisitions with appropriate functional and financial approvals, assuring compliance with internal controls.

Essential Job Duties

  • Facilitate bids, analysis and negotiations for goods and services
  • Accurate and timely processing of all purchase orders according to ISI standard process.
  • Manage the day-to-day business relationship with key suppliers through supporting activities, including ordering, communicating demand/ volume/delivery time changes, resolving issues, sharing end-user feedback, following up on backorders, etc.
  • Develop a strong understanding and knowledge of suppliers and capabilities.
  • Assist with contract development and execution.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure continuity of good and services that meet the quality, service, and price performance standards of the company
  • Identifying, prioritizing, and impacting key business opportunities
  • Works closely with other departments to expedite receiving and Purchase Requisition processes.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years MRO/Materials management purchasing experience
  • Experience and understanding of the Materials management program/Kanban, etc.
  • Possesses a comprehensive knowledge of purchasing and a basic understanding of the materials and supply chain management functions
  • Ability to manage entire order to payment process
  • Experience in SAP
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to forge internal customer and external supplier relationships
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks successfully
  • Ability to comply with existing/quickly adapt to new processes within the organization
  • Service and results oriented

Required Education and Training
  • Bachelor's degree in administration or similar

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.

Base Salary Range Region 1: $100.300 USD - $144.300 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $85.300 USD - $122.700 USD
Shift: Day
