The principle role of the demonstrator is to provide support to the Department of Chemistry in all aspects associated with the teaching of Chemistry courses. Must be able to design, build and deploy demonstrations used in Chemistry instruction, as well as breakdown, store and repair equipment used in demonstrations. Provides demonstrations or ideas for outreach programs. This position requires the ability to build strong collaborative relationships with faculty, staff and students. Candidate should possess strong analytical and planning skills, strong judgment and decision making skills. Familiarity with relevant computer hardware, and programming experience is preferred.
