Packaging Machine Operator - 2nd Shift (Administrative)
Job Description:
Candidate will be the primary person to sustain productivity by supplying various departments with finished goods as well as moving work in process materials to the point of use departments and areas throughout the facility. The person selected will operate mechanical, electrical and hydraulic equipment (automatic, semiautomatic, and manual) to fabricate, finish, or package products. Associate will also operate, set-up, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot Manufacturing machinery, at various stations, in their primary role and as relief support for lunch, breaks, and vacations as required. They will assist in monitoring the quality of various products/processes, monitoring safety on all equipment being used and monitoring multiple job functions. They will also assist in employee training and helping maintain continuous uptime on all Packaging machinery. Their assistance in planning, assigning, and directing work with the department supervisor will be an everyday activity. A successful Packaging Operator not only participates in the tactical aspects of ensuring all processes are safely completed, but through MDI boards and other visual management tools, orchestrates the actions of material handlers and other associates.
Hours: 2:30pm - 11:00pm plus overtime as scheduled.
