Sr. Marketing Copywriter

Trinity Solar is seeking a brilliant wordsmith to join our marketing team as a Marketing Copywriter. In the Marketing Copywriter role, you will write on-brand, in-voice copy for email campaigns, paid media, and other assets that engage, educate, and compel our readers. Your passion for helping families understand the value of solar energy drives you to conduct high-quality, in-depth research on a variety of important topics. You will partner across the entire marketing team to drive the brand forward on all key initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Write action-oriented, consumer focused copy in alignment with the established brand voice.
• Execute high-performing email campaigns that sell both the open and the click.
• Constantly research copywriting best practices.
• Conduct in-depth, high-quality topical research.
• Learn and fully understand solar process and how it relates to the copy produced.
• Edit and proofread all marketing copy.
• Utilize SEO principles to increase organic reach where needed.
• Track KPIs of emails, landing pages, etc., including bounce rate, conversion rate, click through rate, and more.
• A/B test subject lines, graphics, copy, headlines, hooks, leads and more to optimize copy performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven success as a Marketing Copywriter with a focus on direct-to-consumer copy.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proven experience successfully employing A/B testing and performing to KPIs,
• Knowledge of or experience in the solar or renewable energy or residential solar industry is preferred.
• Creative and engaging storytelling ability.
• Working knowledge of copywriting for email marketing campaigns, nurture series and post-purchase series (experience with Marketo is a plus).
• Experience writing for campaigns, including emails, landing pages, ads, sales materials.
• Track KPIs of sales emails, landing pages, sales pages, etc., including bounce rate, conversion rate, click through rate, revenue, and more;
• A/B test subject lines, graphics, copy, headlines, hooks, leads and more to optimize copy performance.
• BA/BS in English, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience within a marketing department and/or relevant responsibilities.
