Position Summary
Thales is looking for a Principal Certification Engineer, with minimal supervision of the Certification Leader, to lead a team of certification engineers and ODA Unit Members in the certification of advanced in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems, aircraft communication systems, and supporting systems. This role is accountable for one or more certification projects of significant complexity that are of high significance to the enterprise.
In this position, you will also be responsible for statement-of-compliance that the certified system meets the regulatory and/or airframe manufacturer requirements.
You will need to bring your expertise necessary to lead/manage certification projects consisting of FAA supplemental type certificate (STC) or airframe manufacturer type certificate programs.

What We Offer
The anticipated TTC range for this role is $110,026.50 - $180,451.00 USD Annual. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's status protected by local, state, or federal law.

Total Target Cash (TTC): 110,026.50 - 146,702.00 - 180,451.00 USD AnnualThis reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many. Where a position falls within this range is also dependent on other factors including – but not limited to – the employee's career path history, competencies, skills and performance, as well as the company's annual salary budget, the customer's program requirements, and the company's internal equity.
