About the Role
As a Drains Field Supervisor, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to maximize capacity, efficiency, and profitability. You will supervise and train Drains Technicians to exceed customer expectations by accomplishing the highest quality drain calls, every time. By working closely with your manager, you will match the right technician to every job, helping achieve the company's financial goals.
What You'll Do
Lead Weekly Ride-Alongs: Stay connected with the field by shadowing technicians weeklyproviding real-time coaching, support, and quality assurance.
Conduct Weekly One-on-One Meetings: Mentor team members through consistent check-ins focused on personal growth, technical development, and career progression.
Hands-On Technical Involvement: Take the lead or provide expert assistance on complex plumbing repairs and installations, showcasing leadership through action.
Oversee Equipment Performance: Maintain and repair Spartan Drain Machines and Hydro-Jet equipment, ensuring the team has reliable tools for peak performance.
Facilitate Technician Training: Deliver impactful training sessions to build confidence, skills, and consistency across the team.
Collaborate on Team Meetings: Partner with management to develop engaging content and deliver team meetings that drive alignment and motivation.
Track & Improve Team Performance: Participate in weekly manager check-ins to analyze metrics, identify opportunities, and celebrate wins.
Support Technicians with Job Strategy: Help technicians create strong service options, close jobs effectively, and build customer trust.
Provide Field Support (MonSat): Be a go-to resource for technicians via phone, text, or FaceTime to help navigate challenges and deliver solutions.
Manage Drain Equipment Inventory: Ensure all machines and tools are stocked, organized, and ready to go, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
Maintain Proper Tool Readiness: Keep essential tools on hand to support installs, diagnostics, and repairs when needed.
Branch Support & Cross-Training: Support neighboring branches via phone consultation and occasional travel for specialized training sessions.
What You'll Need
2+ years Residential Plumbing/Drains Experience (preferred)1+ year Leadership ExperienceA Clean, Safe Driving Record, Background Check, and Drug Screen IT competent (Microsoft Office Suite, Sales Platforms, etc.)Be Available After-Hours and on Weekends (As Needed) High School Diploma or GED
