Library Information Management Intern (Education)
Key Projects:
· Transition electronic records to a new Library Services Platform,
· Transition data records to a new data cataloging system,
· Revise and enhance data bibliographic records in system-wide data management system
This is an excellent position for students interested in developing skills relevant to metadata, cataloging, and economics librarianship in a computationally intensive research environment. Applicants must be students able to work part time for at least 16 weeks during the Fall of 2025. Applicants should also meet the requirements below.
Required Education and Skills:
· Basic knowledge and skills related to data management, curation, reproducibility, and/or acquisition
· Strong interest in metadata
· Attention to details and strong organizational skills
· Proven ability to work independently
· Excellent communication skills
· Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program
· Enrollment in a library or information science graduate program and/or two (2) years' experience in a library setting working with metadata or the library catalog preferred

Location(s):
This position is based out of the main office in Kansas City, MO.
Hybrid – at least 50% onsite
Pay Range: The pay rate for this position is $20-21 per hour depending on geographic location.
Sponsorship: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
